Holidays Bring the Heat for CB3

     Independance day is just a little over 2 weeks away, but the summer heat has already begun. With almost 2 months of racing completed in the 2009 season, Chad finds himself in the middle of a tough point battle at both Merrittville and Ransomville Speedways. This weekend will see autograph night at Ransomville friday, and $1 hotdog night at the Merrittville Speedway saturday. Then, as if that isn't enough pressure, the big dawgs are coming to eat on July 3rd with the Advance Auto Parts Big Block tour stop at the Ransomville oval. One of the two biggest races of the year is upon us and is shaping up to be a great night out for both the race fan and the family. In anticipation for this night the Brachmann team has "tried some new changes in the past few weeks" and feel that they are as good as anyone on any give night, while looking forward to the challenge that the series always presents. It was just a year ago when a tangle in the heat race would force them to the consolation race, where they eventually broke and missed the feature for this same show. This year "will be a whole different ballgame" according to the crew, as they prepare for a stretch in the season that will make or break their points battles and championship aspirations.
