CB3 Looking To Make A Point This Weekend

 This upcoming weekend, Brachmann looks to continue his gain towards point leader Pete Bicknell at both the Ransomville and Merrittville Speedways. Brachmann trails Bicknell by just 10 at the local Ransomville and a mere 14 at the Merrittville oval. His points position is second at both tracks after top 5 finishes at both tracks this past weekend and in fact, double features at Ransomville, where he finished 3rd and 4th respectively.

 After holding the pole position in the make up feature at Ransomville Friday, he left the car just a bit too loose and Bicknell ended up slipping by on the low side to take the win, while Brachmann would hold it together for a solid 3rd place finish. When it came time for the night cap, Brachmann would start 17th and rocket to a 4th place finish in a car that many saw as the fastest on the speedway. When the race went green to checker, Rich Vinson had checked out on the field and as the checkers flew CB3 found himself a distance from the leader but in a battle with Bicknell for the 3rd spot right to the line.

 The following night at Merrittville, Brachmann and Bicknell found themselves in tight as a fast race track would leave Brachmann to qualify through the consolation, and Bicknell starting one spot ahead in the 18th spot. Bicknell found himself in a jingle on lap 8 while CB3 ducked to the outside of the speedway and made his way through virtually untouched. Chad continued his way to the front and would make his way to a 4th place finish on the evening, while Bicknell would settle for 14th place. All said and done Brachmann gained 20 points on Mr Small Block and the battle has indeed continued from last week.
