Chad Brachmann may not be a Canadian citizen, but that doesn't stop him from celebrating holidays in style with them. Chad pulled into the pits Sunday night after a quick change in plans after looking at the weather forecast for the Syracuse area, in which he had intended to travel to. "The original plan was to test out our new car at Cayuga County", the speedway located in Weedsport NY, but when the weather looked dicey, Chad and his team loaded up their current car and headed to Humberstone Speedway in Port Colborne, ON, where they proceeded to capture their first feature win of the 2011 season.

As soon as Chad's hot lap session ended and he parked his Mighty Taco modified at his trailor, he climbed out and stated "This car is super fast tonight, don't change anything" to his brother and head crew member Corey. "When I have to back off it in our hot laps, that tells me someting" was Chads follow up statement. True to his word, he wasn't lying. Chad would win his heat after starting 5th of the 8 car field and went to the front stretch to draw the pole for the feature.

On the drop of the green, CB3 would pilot his car on the bottom of the speedway and seemed to be pulling away from the field, but a caution on lap 8 would even the field up and what came next was even better for all the fans. Chad and Mighty Matt Williamson would battle top and bottom for almost 18 laps before the top side of the speedway just couldn't stretch any further and with the lead being swapped almost 7 times, the final swap would come with Chad ahead and pulling through lap traffic and on to the win.

Monday night at the Merrittville Speedway, the team unloaded the very same car for the first 358 Modified Super Dirtcar Series event of 2011 and saw almost the same results. Chad would time 2nd in his heat, go on to finish second in his heat and start the feature 5th, which is where he still currently sits on lap 25. This race was called due to rain and the continuation will be held August 1st as a duet to the already scheduled Big Block Super Dirtcar Series Event scheduled for the same day.

This friday Chad will once again sit on the pole for the conclusion of the Ransomville Speedway opener that was called due to rain on the 13th of May. Come on out to your local dirt track and support your favourite driver, where we like everything Mighty on our Power Trips.
