Brachmann's 358 looking for a Power Trip this Week

In the past few weeks, the Brachmann racing team has been venturing out of their comfort zone, looking for answers that will make the most important facet of their season a success. Its August 1st and soon the Bob St Amand 100 and the Alex Friesen Summer Nationals will be upon us, with the conclusion of the 358 Modified Super Dirtcar Series to follow. While Chad has made memorable finishes at both events including an attempt to thread the needle past Vic Coffey in last years Nationals, the team is determined to play a factor in both of the local events this year.
Chad and his Power Trip team recently ventured to the Dirtcar Allstar weekend, in order to see how he stacks up against Dirtcars best and look to test some of the teams irregular setups. This begged me to ask the question, were they happy with their findings. Well, not only did Chad put his 358 Modified in the show, he also finished ahead of many tour regulars such as Dale Planck, Larry Wight and others on his way to respectable 13, 19 and 14 place finishes in his Mighty Taco small block. The team felt that overall they had a successful evening, but felt that a few changes here and there would have put them even further on their research when they completed it. It is apparent that the Sanborn, NY driver has some new wind in his sails to start the last 1/3 of the season, and probably his most important.
This week, Chad will compete at the Ransomvile Speedway on Friday night, Merrittville Speedway Saturday and Monday night and again next friday at the big R for the Nationals. While the team has scaled back on weekly events, "sometimes you need to cut back to go forward" was what Chad had in mind in a mid week conversation. Look for CB3 to make an impact at this weeks big events and feel free to stop by the Mighty Taco, Power Trip, Grelak Mechanical trailor after the races for this years autographed cards at any of the areas local tracks.
Bring your family, bring your neighbour, your local dirt track is still where it's at, and this week it's sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.
