CB THREE!

Written by Corey Brachmann.

Last Friday night was this years opening night at the Ransomville Speedway, and Chad Brachmann decided to spend front and center with what seemed to be the entire Niagara county.

Heading into the night, Brachmann knew he would be starting the 30 lap main outside the pole, thanks to his time trial laps the previous week. What he didn't know was how fast the outside of the speedway was going to be that launched his Mighty Taco number 3 to the lead after the first lap of the feature.

A Win With Some "Merritt"

Written by Doug England.

Chad and the Brachmann Racing team pulled into Merrittville Speedway last Saturday with one thing on their mind, a win. Little did they know that it would come from a place that has been all to familiar to CB3 over the years. It was a stout field at Merrittville last Saturday, with several regulars looking to start their 2013 season with a win. Names like Bicknell, Williamson, Bowman and Lampman with a sprinkling of invaders from the north country all revved up and ready to roll.

Chad would start his heat in the sixth spot, looking to gain as many spots as possible for a pre determined heads up start. A heat win would have him start in the front of the field, but an early tangle coming out of turn two would leave the former points champ with some distance to make up in order to do so. Chad would use his past experiences to get himself a top 3 and let him start the feature 8th. Early on in the feature, Chad would plant the Mighty Taco Modified on the bottom of the speedway to gain a few positions and get himself into the top 5. After the second caution of the evening flew, Chris Steele began to drive away from the field, followed by Eric Rudolph,  Bicknell and CB3.

Chad Brachmann and his team hit the road this weekend, March 15-17th for a trip to Selinsgrove Speedway. This weekends "IceBreaker" marked the beginning to the 2013 season for the Brachmann Racing team that will include another season as a regular at the Ransomville Speedway on Friday nights.

CB3 looks to regain his perch atop the 358 Modified standings after a close battle for the points championship in 2012 with Pete Bicknell. Brachmann will continue to make unscheduled special appearances in 2013 when his calendar will allow.

CB3 Looking For More In 2012

Written by Webmaster.

Its been about 6 months since Chad Brachmann had the night of his life as a driver when he and his team took home various awards from the Ransomville Speedway banquet last October, but as many would know there was no rest in the Brachmann garage this past winter.

CB3 and his team were busy assembling their choice wheels for an assult on 2012 that will include stops in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York and Ontario. Grandview Speedway will be a semi regular night this summer as CB3 teams with Rod Bereinstein to compete with names like Howard, Strunk and VonDohren. A tall task for even the best, but if anyone would be up to it, CB3 would be.

Brachmann Takes Home Hardware

Friday night the Ransomville Speedway held its annual banquet to culminate the 2011 season. Chad Brachmann knew going into the night he would receive honors for his 358 Modified Championship, but both he and his crew were quite surprised with the nights events when all of the hardware had been handed out.

Chad graciously accepted his plaques and point money for his seasons feature wins and division championship, but Tana Robinson and the Friesen family still had a few more accolades to present to Brachmann Racing. Chad's brother Corey was presented with the Mechanic of the Year award, and immediately made a statement to the full house that "We here at Brachmann Racing are a team, we win as a team" and followed that statement with a request that his father Mike and fellow crew member Jason "Cash" Nevins join him at the front.
